About Us

An Bothan is a 1 bedroom self-catering apartment that sleeps three, with views over the harbour and out to the Isle of Skye.

We are Shirley and Martin and we run Mallaig Self Catering in our cottage An Bothan. We look forward to welcoming you to our lovely village of Mallaig on Scotland's west coast.

Offering a garden, parking and stunning views of the harbour, the sea and the Isle of Skye, An Bothan is easy to reach by car, train or bus. We are 65 km from Fort William and 43 km from Glenfinnan Monument and the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct.

As you approach the apartment there is a patio, ideal for watching the amazing sunsets that Mallaig is famous for.

Beyond the patio there is a private entrance to the apartment.

The accommodation itself consists of an upstairs bedroom with a super-king size bed and a single bed, so sleeping a maximum of three guests. We also provide a travel cot for infants upon request in advance.

On the ground floor there is a living room with a flat-screen TV, a well equipped kitchen with an oven and a microwave, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Towels and bed linen are provided.

The accommodation has both free WiFi and free parking on-site.

We are a 10 minute walk for the railway station, the Ferry Terminal and the village of Mallaig.

The property is non-smoking. Sorry, but we do not accept pets.
